Ink Blended Letterpress Arch Card with Collage Stamping

Mixing techniques is one of my favorite ways to create! I mixed ink blending, letterpress, and stack and collage stamping to make this easy card.

I used my BetterPress Letterpress Platform and pressed the "sending hugs" sentiment as well as one of the arches from the Arches Hello Impress-ion Press + Foil Plates into an A2 Cotton Watercolor Panel with Raven Hybrid Ink. I used the smallest Arch Die to cut out the arch and added the sentiment on top with foam tape.

I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" and used an Arch Spotlight Stencil to blend Soft Kisses Ink into the center of the panel. I kept the concentration of ink darker towards the bottom and lighter towards the top. I used Alloy and Soft Kisses Hybrid Inks to stamp various images from the Texturize It Collage 4x6 Stamps in a diagonal pattern from the bottom left towards the top right of the panel.

I used foam tape to adhere the arch die-cut piece to the center of the stamped panel and added everything to a black card base. That's it! I'll see you again soon!

Pretty Watercolored Peonies Card

Hi! It's Lynnea with a new video tutorial to share with you! I did a bit of letterpressing and a bit of watercoloring and made a simple and pretty card.

I started by letterpressing the Peony Impress-ion Press + Foil Plate into an A2 Cotton Watercolor Panel with Raven Hybrid Ink. Next I pressed the Stripes Impress-ion Press + Foil Plate right where the peonies stopped to create a striped border. I grabbed some of my favorite watercolors and added color to the pressed image. I stamped a sentiment from the Billowing Blossoms 4x6 Stamps and cut it out with the Coordinating Dies and added it towards the bottom of my panel.

All that's left to do is trim down the panel, add a blue layer, and add everything to an A2 card base! Thanks for joining me!

Planting the Garden Impress-ion Card

I have a card that's cute, simple, and perfect for spring! I used press plates to create letterpressed images and colored them with alcohol markers to create an adorable scene.

I started by pressing images from the Planting the Garden Impress-ion Press + Foil Plates into a Cotton Watercolor Panel with Raven Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I blended Four Leaf Hybrid Ink towards the bottom of an A2 card base and Marina Madness Hybrid Ink towards the top. I faded both inks to white in the center to create a highlight and make a more realistic looking scenic background.

I added my images to the card with foam tape and stamped a sentiment from the Love & Friendship Sentiments 4x8 Stamps with Raven Hybrid Ink towards the top of my card and that's it! I'll see you again soon!

Pure Joy Billowing Blossoms Card

Stripes and flowers - is there anything better?! I don't think so! Watch my video tutorial to see how this easy card came together!

I used the Stripes Impress-ion Press + Foil Plate along with Bali Blue Hybrid Ink to make my background. I love the versatility of this Press Plate! I've used it on a card just once to add striped accents, but this time I decided to repeat the pattern across my entire background. Be sure to watch my video for my easy trick to make sure my background stays lined up properly and doesn't overlap!

I used Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp a sentiment and the flowers from the Billowing Blossoms 4x6 Stamps and then colored the image with Copic Markers. I kept the coloring light and breezy so that it wouldn't conflict with the bold background. I used the Billowing Blossoms Coordinating Dies to cut out the image and the sentiment and then added them to my panel with foam tape. I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.25" and added it to a gray card base. That's it! Thanks for joining me!

Tulip Mix Background Card

I've fallen completely IN LOVE with the Tulip Mix Background Impress-ion Press + Foil Plate from LDRS Creative! I pressed it into my card, added some quick watercoloring, and finished it off with some pops of white elements. Easy peasy and perfect for spring!

I pressed the Tulip Mix Impress-ion Press + Foil Plate into an LDRS Creative A2 Cotton Panel with Raven Hybrid Ink so that I would have a crisp, black impression. I grabbed my palette of rainbow watercolors and added color to the background. I didn't use any shading, just a simple wet on dry painting technique. The impression causes valleys which displace the water, and that coupled with the line art in the image, create dimension without any added effort.

I cut the Floating Squares Die from white cardstock and positioned it hanging off the right side of my watercolored panel. I added a die cut sentiment from the Simply Word Dies and a sentiment strip from the Simply Sentiments 4x6 Stamps. I trimmed the panel and popped it up onto a white card base. That's it! Thanks so much for joining me!

SNEAK PEEK! || Timeless Wildflowers 4x8 Stamps

It's time for another sneak peek into the LDRS Creative Spring Collection! There's so much to love ... just look at these gorgeous wildflowers!

I love the monochromatic color scheme and simplicity of this card. I used the Timeless Wildflowers 4x8 Stamps as the focal point of my card. Don't forget that you can easily switch up the floral image and create a set to give as a gift or make a set for yourself so you have cards ready to send on hand! I did some quick coloring and then added a simple sentiment and some stamped elements to the background from the Texturize It Collage 4x6 Stamps

That's it! Super easy peasy! Make sure to check the LDRS Creative website TONIGHT at midnight for the full Spring Collection release

SNEAK PEEK! || Hops & Waddles Collage Stamps

It's sneak peek time for the LDRS Creative Spring 2024 Collection! Check out these adorable collage stamps and Easter egg dies! They're too adorable for words!

I started my design with the Ledger 3x4 Stamp and then used the NEW (and coming soon!!) Hops & Waddles Collage 4x6 Stamps to fill in the rest of the background with sentiments and icons in traditional Spring colors.

Collage projects don't have to be strictly stamping! I grabbed the Easter's On Its Way Dies (coming SOON!) and cut three eggs to pop up near the top of my design. I finished the card with some colored cardstock layers and that's it! You could easily mass produce this design to send some Easter happiness. I'll see you soon for more sneak peeks!
